PRIDE MUSIC FESTIVALS
Founder & Principal — House of Puckett The Context: Major LGBTQ+ festivals in Los Angeles required large-scale visual systems and operational coordination to support events attracting 500,000+ attendees, while organizers faced tight margins and increasing pressure to demonstrate sponsor value and operational efficiency. The Mandate: Deliver cohesive, high-impact visual experiences at city-scale while improving cost efficiency, sponsorship appeal, and execution reliability across complex, multi-day live events. The Work: Led end-to-end creative leadership and operational coordination for LA Pride and WeHo Pride festivals, directing brand systems, environmental design, and on-site execution across extensive festival footprints. Mobilized and coordinated cross-functional teams of 100+ designers, production specialists, and installers, managing vendors, print production, and installation logistics under compressed timelines. Implemented a vertically integrated creative and production approach that unified branding, fabrication, and execution, increasing consistency while reducing fragmentation across suppliers. Applied the same operational rigor to other high-visibility entertainment events, including NFL Super Bowl activations, major film premieres, and professional sports productions. The Outcome: Reduced festival creative costs by ~20% while elevating visual cohesion and sponsor appeal. Delivered large-scale cultural events that achieved record attendance and reinforced these festivals as destination experiences within Los Angeles’ LGBTQ+ community.
